The GRMF team is very pleased by the results of the Application Round 5 as it clearly shows the development of the East African geothermal market and the increasing number of market players. The development is also reflected by the quality of the applications, the reflected structured process of the projects and finally leading to the objective of the programme: an increased usage of geothermal energy in East Africa.

In addition, we want to inform you about the possibility to meet the complete GRMF team at the 7th African Rift Geothermal Conference (ARGeo-C7) which will be held in Kigali (Rwanda) from 29 October to 4 November 2018.  Face-to-face meetings will be possible on 31 October and 1 November 2018 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, with about 30 minutes per developer. Please let us know as soon as possible which date and time you would like to meet us there. Your request should be sent to Mr Sylvain Degolmal Ngaryo (NgaryoS@africa-union.org).

With best regards,

Your GRMF Team
